Our Approach

Our gynecologic oncology team understands the many physical and emotional complexities of cancers of the reproductive tract, including potential effects on fertility for patients who wish to have children. We employ an individualized, multidisciplinary approach to every gynecologic cancer patient, and our team of works in concert to carry out each woman’s treatment plan. In addition, our oncology team meets weekly to discuss patient cases to ensure the best possible therapy, or combination of therapies – including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and hormonal therapy – is being utilized.

Saint Clare’s also staffs community outreach and education professionals and offers a full slate of Support Groups and Supportive Services to help cancer patients and their loved ones cope with the physical, emotional, and psychological challenges posed by gynecologic cancer.
