Counseling and Support Groups
Overview
Saint Clare’s offers an extensive list of support groups, designed to offer physical, moral, emotional, and informational support for cancer patients in all stages of treatment and recovery. Specially trained oncology social workers are available to address individual patient, caregiver and family needs. In addition to one-on-one sessions, they also coordinate a number of group activities.

Our Programs
Psychosocial Counseling
Psychosocial counseling is available for patients and families undergoing treatment for cancer at Saint Clare’s Center for Cancer Care. Call for more information.
Women Helping Women: Tackling Cancer Together
A psychoeducational group for women effected by cancer.
The group meets on the third Wednesday of the month 7 – 8:30 pm.
Saint Clare’s Denville Hospital
Third Wednesday of each month, 7 – 8:30 pm. Call for schedule and location.
Living with Cancer
A support group to provide emotional and social support to anyone touched by cancer. Call for time and location.

The Bereavement Group
A professionally lead support group program for those who have lost a loved one to cancer or another long-term illness. The group is a hybrid group that meets both in person and virtually on Wednesday evenings 5:30 – 7 pm. Call for dates, location and to register.
