Saint Clare’s Behavioral Health to Hold Dedication/Unveiling of Its Recovery Garden
Denville, NJ (May 9, 2019) – Saint Clare’s Health announces that its family group will hold a dedication/unveiling of its recovery garden at its Boonton location at 130 Powerville Road, Boonton Township, New Jersey, on May 23 at 6 pm.
The garden is a space for family members, the public, and clients to have a quiet moment and recognize that they are not alone in individual or collective struggles. The garden is already being utilized for moments of reflection. The garden was the brain child of the Thursday night group run by Mike Heart, who saw a need for a place to reflect on those lost and those struggling with addiction. The entire family group was involved with many of the members providing services for construction and/or financial help. All was done by consensus by the group and approved by Saint Clare’s administration. Sylvia Magadan, DO, is especially active with the group. The dedication also allows for community outreach as the family group wants to show the community that they have a voice, regardless of stigma. The dedication allows them to open dialog with the community.
