Vision

The NPC drives nursing excellence at Saint Clare’s Health System (SCHS) through empowerment, autonomy, and ongoing collaboration with other disciplines to provide the best care for our patients and families.

The members of the NPC are drawn from the registered nursing staff with representation from all departments within the Saint Clares Health System. Ancillary nursing services, education, nursing management and administration will also have representation on this committee. Voting members shall consist of the Registered Nurses of the nurse practice council, the Nurse Manager Advisor, and the Education Specialist.

• Nursing Executive Council ensures successful attainment of nursing strategic goals.
• Nursing Research Council encourages the integration of evidence-based practice and ensures the utilization, and dissemination of nursing research.
• Nursing Education Council ensures competent staff and a continuous learning environment to increase the level of staff expertise and knowledge.
