How do I apply?

We use the following criteria to determine which applicants to our program will be offered interviews:

• Only applications submitted through Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) are considered for review. 
• In fairness to all applicants, we do not pre-screen (calls, emails, or visits) or offer any feedback regarding applications. 
• An email invitation will be sent to all applicants selected for an interview. 
• All applicant interviews will be conducted virtually through Microsoft Teams. There will be no on-site interviews. 
• We require all applicants to have passed USMLE Steps 1 and 2, or COMLEX Level 1 and 2 for DO applicants to be considered for an interview. 
• We accept International Medical Graduate (IMG) applicants who are ECFMG-certified. 
• A minimum of three letters of recommendation preferably from the Internal Medicine Faculty.
• U.S. clinical experience is recommended and helpful. 
• We sponsor J-1 Visas ONLY

All applicants must apply through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application System). Our program ID # is 1403300539. We do not accept applications via Fax, Email or postal services.

2. Dean’s letter of recommendation
3. Letters of Recommendation (3)
4. CV (through ERAS)
5. Explanation of gaps in training or medical school
6. Personal Statement
7. Official medical school transcript
8. Official USMLE transcript
9. Current professional photo

Are there additional requirements?

Yes, graduation from medical school within the past 5 years and ECFMG certification.

What are your USMLE score requirements?

Applicants must pass USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 on the first attempt and should have scores of 220 or higher. We do not specifically exclude applicants based on the USMLE score as we carefully consider the entire application and encourage all interested students to submit applications to our residency program.
